CE : As the Drifters, we must protect

... crack, crack..
The sound of my own weapon- Remnant, annoys me. I glance over my shoulder a bit and start to read the record of history I've collected.
..crack, tap, thunk !
I closed my eyes and turn rapidly to my new apprentice- Lollita Aizukawa, a bit older than me, but a bit klutz, you see.
"Hey, hey, Cale, it seems I failed to use your revolver again, thats weird you know? I can do it when you teach me this afternoon" Said Lollita with her usual, cheery look.
"Geez ! Don't point the revolver at me like that? I will teach you again later but let me read this record first, with p e a c e, okay?" I quickly hand some paper to Lollita while I said that to her. She smiled and start to hold the paper. I read and think about the plan I will do later on with a serious face. Dub seems aware to my seriousness and hover silently above me. Later I've noticed that Lollita is looking at the busy town below.
"... Cale, master, do you think I can help you to protect the world from the second Dark Ages? You see, I said to you I want to protect people, and you accepted me, but I can't even protect myself.. There were too many mistakes I've done in my life.. Its.."
"Listen, Lollita. Um..." I turn my head to her and just realized I cut her words before it finished - "I.. quite seen my reflection in you. Everybody done some mistakes, or probably, huge mistakes...." I continued, but stopped when I remember those Dark Ages , just within me.
My apprentice seems understand the situation, a gentle tap in my shoulder awake me from my thoughts,
"I remember the first word you said to me, 'as the drifters, we must protect' .... I'm so happy that you accepted me. I've never seen you as a difficult or sinful master. It may be rude, but I've seen you as respectable, cute girl, you see...." She said with a solemn face, but her radiant smile made me quite happy, shocked actually. Nobody told me that I'm cute or what. Lollita suddenly gives off motherly aura. I took a quick glance at Dub and it seems agree with Lollita.

"... As the drifter, we must protect. No matter it dawn, or sunset, we must do the best to pass down history and stories of people, to prevent the Second Dark Ages.. Don't worry, I will guide you, Lollita, as well you will help me... Well, start from those papers I gave you.. And... Thank you..." I smiled, with blush that pop up out of nowhere, and hear a quick reply of 'yes, Cale, master!' as her usual words.

At last it finished ! XD I almost give up when I can't finish it last month, but thankfully I can finished it with happiness
